Question WW2 Magneto Identification

A friend has given me an old Bendix Scintilla DFN Magneto. Mfr Drg 10 - 8038 - 19 manufactured in 1941. He has 10, they are all brand new unused. Does anyone have any info on them or want them ?

Javelin,

Sorry for the time between your post and this reply, could you give some idea of the shape, size , attachment flange size and how many bolt holes,also the drive, and what it looks like(gear, or tapered shaft etc) and finally what colour are they painted, I may have some answers
