wryly,

haven't got the exact details mate, but it goes something like this:-

1. Current manpower is 2 greenies and 2 heavies working 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off.
2. Additional support for the nightshift is deployed from STN. This deployment of extra staff is indefinite due nighjtshift workload, which means if the base does open up then there may well be a recruitment program.
3. There is a requirement for a Station Engineer and i beleive this will be advertised in the near future.

However, there is a rumour knocking around that GO want to do their own maintenance at BRS, so this action may well cancel out the extra manpower requirement. Hope this gen helps.

Wryly,

Once again no exact details but here are the almost right figures.

1. Basic = £25k
2. Shift = £6k near as dmn it.
3. Type approvals = £1k per company approval (money still paid if a/c type withdrawn)
4. O/T paid on basic salary only.
5. Very little money paid for limited and simple tasks.

Hope this gen helps wryly. Keep asking and i'll keep trying to find out.

Hi Pen
You are a bit "lost" on your location of me!!
However "life" began in aviation with a major comic born in the 1960s
And the rest is history!!!!
What is your sad story!!!
