Question JAR66

I am an A and C UK licence holder, AND MY PRESENT LIC IS VALID UNTIL 07/05.
I have done turb/props and plan to do X in Sept but have had no chance to study yet, or even have any material!
I work for an EEC based airline who say they will process everything for me and pay the JAR66 license.
What do you all think about that, given the fact that ALAE has asked us members not to apply for JAR66 until they haveissued a statement shortly?
