SQ pay hike ?

...Read on the toilet wall today, the Engineers at Singapore Airlines have just been awarded a 14% pay rise. Anyone out there care to comment ?

Yeah, who do I see for a job, my last pay rise way 3% four years ago.

Our pay is reviewed annually by the company. For the last 15 years now they found it satisfactory

Not too bad for expats in specialist positions, but we have a lot of local staff working for less than 300 quid a month (and the cost of living isn't far behind the UK either.)
