DC-10 airframe number - where?

Where would one look for the airframe number on a DC-10 hulk (tail section missing).

If I remember correctly the data plate can be found on the L1 door frame.

L1 door frame is a good bet, if not there I seem to remember grovelling around in the little panel adjacent to the L1 door where you test the multiplex and the ground service electrics can be connected for a number in bygone years.
If it's been scrapped then such data may have been removed.

If you know the registration you can look here or if you have access to the aircraft as stated above it will either be located at door L1 or on the Flight deck just right of the door (looking aft )

L1 upper door frame is where you'll find the data plate and the info you're looking for
