Leadership change at the Engine Alliance

Does anyone know why the GE has pushed aside Lloyd Thompson ans president of the Engine Alliance and brought back Bruce Hughes in the roll?

I understand that the EA are in the middle of critical testing for their engine on the A380 and this appears to be a strange move.

looking forward to seeing the aircraft fly next year.
