Hi, anyone with details on working as an engineer for CHC in the UK, i.e. pay, shifts, working hrs etc. Any info greatly appreciated.

I used to work up in Aberdeen, Wages were !!!!! left for pastures new still in contact with mates who work up there, still not a happy place, but people staying there as its where they live.

Housing is expensive, people are nice, Aberdeen great city, looks damp and grey most of the time, Only place I've ever been where you get all four seasons in an hour.

Not much help as I did leave 7 years ago, but will phone my mates up and find out more info for you if nobody else gives you a more upto date reply.

Depends on where your looking to work but all bases seem to work equal time on time off 11 hour shifts.Starting pay not the best but improves with type ratings, shift allowances etc,you can even be paid more for driving the forklift
