FLS (F***ing Lousy Service) has always been a bit of a white elephant losing money, run by Incompetent managers and with a fairly high staff turnover as anyone who is any good takes their Courses and Quits to make some money with the Airlines or becomes a contractor. The Rocks that are left as Permies doss around all day and the whole place relies on Contractors to get any work done. This is especially true of Dublin base, The old UK Hangars in MAN and STN seemed to be a bit better with some Permies who actually new what they were doing and actually got some work done.
I can't see the Swiss being able to change things too much as they have bought all the Staff with the Deal like a Millstone hanging round their Neck.
The only way to make that operation work is to Declare BAnkruptcy, Fire all the Rocks (Managers & Engineers/Mechanics) and start over with Good Contractors who are not afraid of working when theyre getting paid a good rate for it
But I can't see this happening so I suppose the Lumbering beast will limp along losing money for another 2 years and be sold again to someone else who will make all the same mistakes all over again.
