Safety shoes/Clothing

Not sure if I should be asking this question here or in the Health and Safety forum but here goes. Is there a requirement to wear Safety shoes/clothing on the line/hanger floor ? If so, where would I obtain the necessary information ? Thanks in advance.

Most companies would demand it. That way they are sure to be meeting their responsibilities wrt foot protection in their facility.
Don't forget to claim for industrial clothing on your tax return if you have to purchase it yourself! I usually claim £50-100 per annum and chuck in any relevant receipts. A modest claim gets nodded through. Quite right too.
