Breitling are big on the aviation angle but seem to be lacking where it counts. All Breitling owners I have talked to reckon they lose/gain time to an alarming degree. All style and no substance. My 1987 Seiko Sports 100 loses about one second in 4 months - I'm hung like a pachyderm of course. :D

I have a Citizen Wingman VI as pictured on Capt Efis's reply on previous page.
Good points are good size digital read out for those of us who are a little older, lots of time zones and you can delete the ones you don't want, internal light, alarm for all zones and last of all very accurate. I'm not too keen on its looks and it is a big watch. However since I'm all over the place, I found it's functions to be the best for me. I reckon even Breitling should look at it's functions and being about 80% cheaper the Citizen is very good value. :) |
FWIW, I reacon the Casio Data Bank series have just what you need. Every time zone in the world (and ADL!!!), analog and digital displays with light. I just bought one 3 months ago. Be aware that there are about 3 models. For my purposes, I picked the metal banded, gold/brushed metal finish. They also have data bank features - no idea why, phone numbers and appointments go into my mobile phone. :)
