Why I loathe AsA's feeble 'management'

Did everyone else receive the latest memo from Bernie at their home addresses on Friday?

Never have I known someone's initials to give such an accurate portrayal of the person themself! It's bad enough having my inbox at work flooded with his cr@p - when is this Pr1ck (yes, he's earned the capital 'P') going to stop sending his in(s)ane propaganda to our homes?

BS, please stop telling me how privileged I am to be losing money year on year with Airservices, simply because you're too stingy to pay a miserable CPI increase, let alone what we're actually worth!

Anyone else out there got reasons for loathing their so-called superiors (my therapist told me this would help)?

Adamastor

P.S. Can anyone confirm or deny the rumour that one of the comments in the Staff Satisfaction Survey was (and I paraphrase):

"I wish I knew which aircraft Bernie, the rest of the board, and all upper level management was on, so I could plough it straight into the nearest mountain"?

Hmmmm, I wonder if that would work........?

Just wait until they flog it off. A privatised AsA is sure to be a winner - with staff, airlines and pilots!

Yes, things can get a LOT worse.

Privatised AsA could be sooner than later....

AsA is now billing Archerfield Airport Corp. directly for the tower.

Apparently this will gradually happen at all other tower locations.

Advantages for AsA with a 'For Sale' sign on the front door;

*No more nasty aircraft owners to deal with.
*Big Fat Invoices to fewer customers.
*Easier for the new (future) owner to sell off individual Towers to the airports themselves.

Advantages for current airport owners (using same model as A.A.C.);

*One Invoice for all services (easier to hide charges, easier to increase charges i.e. blame increased tower costs etc).
*H24 charge in place, All movements still charged full price - even when the tower is not active.

ADAMASTER U must be on bernies SPECIAL list. I certainly did not get Bernies letter sent to home only a copy provided by my supervisor. Maybe it is time that the employees took over the organisation and ran the business themselves. Now that would be something to look forward to. I volunteer to terminte all management contracts personally.

You may be drunk but pretty well on the mark, coral. It wouldn't surprise too many of us if the Fed Govt follow the UK 'lead' and at least part-privatise AsA. And wasn't there a rather embarrassing bail-out of NATS just 6 months afterwards (at immense taxpayer expense, naturally)??

(Sorry if I hijacked the original point of your thread, Adamastor.)

Angry

I am highly offended that Bernie didn't interupt my 2 days off with a personal e-mail. I will have to wait until tomorrow to read his gems of wisdom on the intranet. (Written no doubt between his planning this FY's ASA travel budget to see how he and the team can spend A$10M).
When I filled out the latest application for a net account I left out my home e-mail address and mobile phone no. (last thing I want is an SMS from Bernie). Obviously other CivilAir brothers did not.
