It has been there for awhile now, i think it has Penguin Express on the tail.
According to our website, there are 7 registered in the country
VH-ABM DH-104 SERIES 1 (04097) SIXTH CANUS PTY LTD
VH-DHA DH-104 SERIES 6 (04514) GILLIES
VH-DHI DH-104 SERIES 5 (04410) RUDGE
VH-DVE DH-104 SERIES 5 (04420) STEVERMUER
VH-EOB DH-104 SERIES 8 (04-209) O'BRIEN
VH-NBM DH-104 SERIES 6A (04416) SIXTH CANUS PTY LTD
VH-OBI DH-104 SERIES 8 (04525) TITAN RIVER P/L
I beleive the one at Moorabbin is VH-DHI, formerly of Rudge Air based at Essendon.
Happy to stand corrected tho

The Dove at Morabbin is VH-ABM, formerly operated by Maloney Aviation of Essendon - hence the Penguin Express logo. It is a Riley Dove, which means, among other mods, it was fitted with Lycoming IO-720's in place of the original Gypsy Queens.
The other Maloney Aviation Dove was VH-NBM, another Riley Dove. NBM is currently at Wallan ALA and, like ABM, appears to be derelict.

Round fin/rudder type is the original as fitted by Dehavillands. The squarer type was fitted by Riley during the conversion process. Optional extra so to speak. Really only to "modernise" the look and so make it a bit more appealing to the yanks. Suspect not so much fuel contamination problems, but tired and U/S engines and systems, and very little money to repair or replace................Hey didja know them 720's were turbocharged as well when they left Riley's?
