ANINDIDLYAKWA AIR whats goen on?

I've resisted but now it is time to post.

Todays NT News has an ad for a new CEO, rumours around are that they are not travelling to well, can this be confirmed?

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE BRILLIANT COMPANY THAT G*** B HAD GOEN???

Yes I should mind my own business but well hey gotta be a gossip every now and then.

The Darwin scene seems to have changed considerably over the past 24 months.....

HA

no, i believe things aren't too good at most dn based charter operators, would not surprise me if two or threee of them do not exist in 12 - 18 months or so.

It's all the fun of the fair and swings and roundabouts up here in the NT at present.

It was NAC on the brink a couple of months ago, AA's at present, no lottery prize for guessing the focus of next months gossip

Only time will tell.......

Capt Vege,

The link doesn't work

Now now thinking no need to get personal, its no different to posts that have been made about us in the past. It is a direct question to see what RUMOURS are floating around.....

Ya can't blame a man for asking... Then again you could just tell us whats going on.

Oh and Vege the business plan didn't work yesterday, crown lager, buxom babes and the adrenelin pumping action tend to cloud ones mind... But ya gotta agree weren't there some babes there

Talking

Come to think of it, Boothy did look a little green in the gills the other day at BRL, but when we gottim home we applied liberal amounts of beer where required and I'm told he has only just the other day taken his sunnies off...............

You can be so cruel Bez, so cruel.....

Kev,

At least get the nationality correct...... Now i've been called everything... So you wanna buy that 1987 Commodore, only done 265,000 k's near new, 3 year unconditional used car warranty, trust me mate shes a beauty, i'd buy it myself if I wanted another car...........

NC - Nope no money on it, but the Blondie next to me at the table one money on it....

TopEnd 3, thats a fairly big generalisation you make. Considering there is really only 4 operators what does most account for?

Time to go do some work, been pruning to much lately...

Sheesh being called a Lebo.........

well, High altitude, when the new regs come on line in 18 months or so, provided they get through, which they probably will, how many darwin based companies will be able to comply with the financial cost of the new requirements they will have to fulfill in the areas of maintenance and training/checking? most are struggling now, will your company cope with the new regs even????

will be interesting to see how many charter ops are at darwin two years from now.

Well actually, as things get more regulated and liability issues raise their bloated bodies out of bog of eternal stench, airline companies and charter ops will require more legal clout.

Overheard a conversation that AA is being run by a lawyer and a car dealer. Maybe diversification is the key and litigation is the solution......

Eg, In Flight the pax refuses to buy a car from the company, even though they are excellent runners, only owned by a 80 year old lady who used to go down the shops once a week, never faster than 30kph.
---> Result - pax gets sued for dropping a peanut which pilot slipped on and needed 6 weeks off...

All they need now is a Realestate agent to complete the image....

Naturally written with tongue firmly in cheek and facts could be well distorted............................

Rumour also has it that the car dealer/ceo has been bankrupt several times...

I guess things will only get more interesting.

Any flies on the wall out there?
