Cool B727 Sale of ACA

What's the latest info on the sale of Aircargo Australia?
Are the rumours true that 7 x B727's are on the way?
Are there any job vacancies for previously endorsed drivers?
Who are the main movers and shakers in this operation?

If this is the same company that crew Rothchilds 727s forget it. an aussie mate of mine here applied to them about 2 years ago and the pay is ***** house. AUD100 per hour for captains and they fly about 40 hours a month and only casual crews are employed.bit of an aero club outfit if you ask me but probably OK if you are desperate or need a temporary job until something else comes along.they have recently taken a few of the ex ansett piolts so good for them.

2 years is a long time in aviation 146. I had a beer with an ex ansett pilot up here last week who knows the chief flight engineer at aero marine and the word is the crews down there are about to sign a new contract which will see captains on $(oz)100,000 plus and f/os and f/es on $70,000 plus.

Also that company has just been bought out by an american aircraft leasing company that plan to add four more 727s,a747 and an A300b4 to the fleet before January next year.
