Cool All White Brasilia

Who's operating the all white Brasilia out of Darwin? Is this the new Vincent Aviation aircraft for their proposed Timor RPT?

Negative, it's the latest Scarenorth Brasilia. Seen it in Broome and Kunners in the past couple of weeks.

Anyone know where it came from? FlightWest perhaps?

I was watching engineers working on another all white Bras at BN the other day. Our engineer told us that it was also reputed to be going north in the next few days to join its sister ship. How many does Airnorth operate these days?

Saw two all white Bras in YPDN yesterday. If they are being operated by Airnorth, that will bring their total to 6, although I understand from from an engineering friend that VH-ASN is in the hangar for a extended check.

If theyare operating 6 of the beasts they must be doing all right. Does any one know if they are recruiting - have some AN friends who would be interested in applying.
Also heard from a different source that they have completed a ERJ145 evaluation with the manufacturer.Seems we might hear TOPEND callsigns above FL300.
Nice to hear something positive these days of gloom and doom.

would be great to see jets for airnorth, if they are really going to expand they need to move up into the bottom end of the jet market and open up new routes like direct broome? also, they aren't getting the traffic on the Cairns route via Groote in the Bras cos lets face it if you want to go to cairns you are better off jumping on a 146....

Cool

Airnorth might have done a ERJ145 evaluation with the manufacturer but I dont think you will be hearing any topends up at FL300 for a while yet.

1) I think they need a high capacity AOC
2) If they fly jets, will they not be competing against Airlink/Qantas?

Either way, I have to agree that it would be great if they got jets sooner rather than later.
