I have been told the metros are arriving and being serviced by Hawkers. Do we know how many are here and how many are coming. Are the HS748s going to be doing RPT in the day and Freight at night.? Thanks .

Exclamation HORIZON

Saw the second metro 23 arrive yesterday into Bankstown. I think there are four or five arriving in total. Dont believe the 748's will be doing RPT initially. Apparently Qantas has given them until 9 am this morning to have there AOC signed off for RPT or they are pulling the pin. Left Bankstown in the early hours of this morning and quite a few people still hanging around the Horizon hangar trying to get everything done. The test (approval flight) is supposed to be scheduled for 3 pm this arvo.

Cheers AFD

Two Horizon metros operating from the old AN terminal in SY today. Didn't see the rego's, but one was painted in Horizon colours, the other was all white with Horizon painted on it. 1900s still operating as well.

Horizon have been successful in obtaining a High Capacity AOC, and will commence operations on routes being vacated by the Airconnex B1900's.

AOC has been signed and it seems full steam ahead. Started RPT flights on Saturday. Apparently there have been little hick ups and all is going smoothly. Congratulations to everyone involved in getting it up and running.
