707 John Travolta
Is the 707 being piloted by QF crew with JT - does anyone know the story behind who is flying along with F/E or does JT have his own people that he uses?

I'm with...JT completed the QF 744 F/O simulator program but as far as I'm aware, didn't do the line training. Last time I checked that doesn't make him a 'qualified' QF F/O.
I thought that he did hold a command of his own aircraft though!

If you reference the FAA web site, JT does not appear to have a B-707 type rating. I recall reading some press article that called him a FO.
Travolta seems like a neat guy, I've heard good things from the folks at Simuflite concerning his abilities in the sim. I am curious though, as to why he is only a private pilot? He's got over 5,000 hours and is taking the same checkrides we do, so why not get the ATP?

Somehow I've got a funny feeling that at the end of the day, with his chequebook, his charisma and his aircraft - he'll get to sit in whichever seat he damn well wants to!!!
