Question Western Australian Aviation College - Math & Phys.

Has anyone recently done the Math and Physics course at the Western Australia Aviation College. I have seen on pprune and read their website and there seems to be some conflict over the acceptability of the course by Qantas. (Yes, I am going to ring them to find out), but I would be interested in knowing if any students recently attended; 1) how did they find it; 2) and what was the accommodation like that they provided.

Cool

I remember reading in Royal Aero Club WA Mag about the Maths & Physics Course about 12 months ago. The principle of the college (also the chief groung instructor at the club) went over east to sign the deal with QANTAS whereby it would recognise the course.

I have attented the BAK in May 01 and PPL in Jan 02 courses at the college and found them quite good.

Hope this helps

Cool

Having completed the Diploma of Aviation Studies through this organisation, I feel that I can make some good comments about them.

They are excellent!

However, I will mention that I completed the course prior to the current principal taking over the reins. But if he is as good at teaching theory as he is with everything thing else that he has done in his professional career, you can be sure to receive excellent tuition.

I say go and do the course (It is QF endorsed), and enjoy the experience! And don't forget that they have a full B747 procedures trainer too!
