Wink

You boys sure don't allow facts to affect your myopic, provincial views.

$ 1 BILLION NZ taxpayer dollars and over 100,000 aussie jobs gone for the sake of National pride.

Helen Clark? you can keep HIM!!

p.s. AIR NZ had the perfect opportunity to enter the aussie market with only a $30 million injection into Compass, but as
Jim M'Crae has acknowledged, they stuffed up.

The SIA/ANZ/ANSETT alliance would have been good for all and I just wonder why you guys are so 'thuck' as to not acknowledge that you screwed up again.

Why can't you let the AN issue go. You rmarriages must be hard going if you carry so much hate around. None of us like to see people lose their jobs, but you really confirm how 'one eyed'. AN was in bad shape long before ANZ got to it.

I hope you don't make decisions at work like you go off in this forum.
AN was stuffed 10 years (plus) ago.
Even SQ could not have saved the jobs, conditions and expectations of the airline as it was.
Those efficient little SQ'ers would have taken it to pieces & spit out the chips like melon seeds.
& if you were crew, you would not have even considered relevant.
SQ is all bottom line stuff, & it was inefficient, unproductive and broke.
The best part about the airline were the ground staff, the enginerring & the A320's. Even then they could have been fitted with bins to make them efficient.
No matter what way you want to look at it NZ was screwed.
When it dropped the bundle (AN) like a burnt cake & kicked out of the way who suffered most ? - the greedy ones at the top of the food chain.
We all know who put AN in that position - don't we?

I don't know that you covered all the worthwhile bits, I certainly didn't have a problem with most of the Tech Crew, but thanks for the unintended compliment

Can anyone send me the address to Freedom's Recruitment Manager....?

Of course my main qualification is 4000+ hours on the A-320 with a previously major Australian Airline.......
