Did this make the famous(infamous)NT News?
Found this in the SMH this morning and I don't recall see any postings about it.

Given the medias usual treatment of any accident, incident or bad moment in aviation, it's surprising that we didn't hear stories of passengers near death experiences or undescribable terror; rather restrained of them for a change.

Yes it did, last week some time if I recall. It was after the bit with the Brasilian Air Force B707 landing on the still-wet-with-new- bitumen-runway with the "fuel problem". I'm sure someone has a copy. It said that there was no danger to passengers (I don't think the would have noticed really - maybe more strain on seatbelts than usual but that's it) and there was an investigation underway. Cheers,

There is a minimum requirement for the NT News to include a certain number of 'Man bites croc' stories.
For this reason it may not always be possible to report stories that may be of interest to some readers (other than crocodile hunters that is)!

Miss Behaviour.......Absolutely SPOT ON!!!
How I miss my days reading the NT News packed with stories of how the wet season has finally arrived, how this season could be the worst yet for cyclones, how the dry is just around the corner and who could forget that clown that would go out fishing in his $2 tin dinghy and would need rescue every Monday Thursday and Saturday.
ahh memories!
