Anyone had experience in AFRICA?

I am just about to head over to Africa after a 2 year stint out bush and ask if anyone has had any experience over there? I have around 1400hrs and will hope to start off in Botswana or Tanzania. I would like any information on survival tips or good places to hit, or at the very least the location of some good watering holes. I am just looking for some good flying, hard work and great times.. any suggestions?

Cheers

Mate, let me know how you go. Planning to head over in a couple of months for a change of scenery. Hopefully tee up some work in Botswana or Namibia... Send a postcard

Lake Evil, there's a ppruner often on the french forum by the name of juliettepapa who flies out of Tanzania.
But perhaps he and flying masai are the same person?
If not, a search for JP's mail addy could be worth your while.

And if I was 35 years younger, I would be right behind you.

Good luck, have fun, the time of your life and stay safe.

Hi
Did it in early 90's for 4 years, best time of my life.
Try Kenya first as you will be too pale for Bots.
Take plenty of beroca, be nice, smile, and most of all very very very patient and you will be fine,
