Red face Adelaide MUIT

Since the change of government in SA, the plans for a new multi user international terminal have gone quiet.

Does anyone have any new / updated information concerning whether it will be built, and when?

I thought walking across the tarmac with rain pelting sideways at me was something of the past ... but obviously not for SA! ... Aerobridgeitis.

A front-page report in the Advertiser a couple of weeks ago had a Qantas spokesman vowing that an new Adelaide terminal was an urgent need and would be happening soon. He stated that Qantas would go it alone if they couldn't agree with the airport on a multi-user facility (which is what AAL want).

Virgin, surprise surprise, aren't interested and would be happy to snap up Qantas' current terminal (if they aren't already in Ansett's old facility) when the new terminal is built.
