Maths and Physics

I know this has been covered and I have done searches for the topic. I am trying to track down correspondence courses for maths and physics and english. Does Steven Holding from Brisbane do any or do you have to attend his classes in person.
Any helpful info would be appreciated.

S. Holding holds both courses in BBN. U have to attend in person it runs for 4 weeks each course, approx cost $1050 each.
I have attended the physics course only and think that it is well worth the effort of going there. You'll learn stuff that no aviation school can teach u, it's great stuff for any future pilot to know.

Good Luck!

Second the motion re Steve Holdings physics course. Its a lot of work but is aviation specific and quite enjoyable. (.......no, he's not paying me!)

Java,

I'm currently studying a Physics bridging course through the Open Learning Institute of Tafe in QLD... by correspondance.

Take a look at www.oli.tafe.net

Look for: 14241 Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation, CTP212 Physics. The cost is about $300 max.. including enrollment and course guide.. add an extra $120 for text books. Do it at your own pace with a maximum duration of 12 months.

It's a Qantas appoved Physics bridging course. From memory, I don't think Qantas allow any bridging courses in place of high school Maths/English.

Hope this helps

I think you'll find QF do allow bridging courses. Best to check with QF recruiting though.
