Buster, Guim pronounced Gwim. The thread is about names anyhow.
The name is apparantly a Welsh rendering of a local aboriginal dialect commemorating the salty nature of the Deep Creek. Literal translation "Urine Creek".
Probably complete bolox tho.

No Buster, in an official history of our fair metropolis it is translated at "meeting of the waters", but other long time locals (I am not one yet) claim the other is more accurate, if less publishable.
