Ch10 TV news said the wheels collapsed on landing. No reason given at this time.

Hey there,


It was a private hire of seminole KFO, guy doing circuits forgot to put wheels down, apparently (ch 10 & ch 7) no mechanical fault in aircraft. one thing to say, WHOOPS!!!!!!

Wheels up in a PA44? Almost certainly the pilot would have been trained earlier on fixed gear aircraft where his instructor would have taught him to say "Gear down and locked" as part of the downwind checks so that he will be used to this check when he goes on to fly retract gear aircraft. Happens a lot, you know!
