Its good you were picked up so quick Bevan666, what happened to put you in that position?

Itsa_me - beacons are all well and good, they work well as Bevan666's storey indicates, but whilst in the air I think I'll use every means possible to let the world know where I am and what I'm doing. Sods law says that if you don't your ELT will get damaged on impact leaving you no way of communicating

QNIM - Went for follow up flight today....
PFL's - spot on
I.F - near on bloody perfect
went back to JT for circuits.....
CCTS - FUBAR!! stuffed a bit up...got mad....made mistake because I was mad & got madder......gave the day away as a bad joke....

Will go back for CCTS when I've calmed down

Cheers

I was injured in a climbing accident on the Olivine Ice Plataeu. I couldnt walk out, and setting off our ELT we carried was the only option I had. I was very surprised on how quick it all was. It was especially strange to be whisked into downtown Queenstown , after spending 3 weeks in the boonies with only 3 other people.

Got some photos on my web page:

Forced Landings

ICARUS 2001 has the right idea, MAYDAY x3 will get the best results (read your ERSA) it's in the pink section and you should have it off rote. Code 7700 (77Goin to heaven) is also the way to go.
