Wink Qantas hold file theme song!

Nominations for the new hold file music should be taking place shortly. These tunes will give applicants something to listen to apart from the sheer silence that exists for some whilst they continue to wait and hope(?).
The record so far, 432 days. Geez, how bored is he?

Leading the nominations are Talking Heads with 'We're On a Road to nowhere.' and 'Physco Killer.' Others include AC/DC with 'Dirty deeds done dirt cheap.' Any others will be considered...........:o

Lightbulb

Maybe not PFM!

That song is about a wife (Eddie Vedder's Mum actually) trying to leave her husband who beats her!

Quite correct Skypatrol, PFM has got a point though!

First line of the song goes something like -

"Waiting, Watching the clock, it's 4 o'clock, it's got to stop. Tell him. Take no more"

I'm sure quite a few guys out there can relate to that!!!

Hold File?

I asked what I thought was a pertinent question in the interview regarding the hold file, and was told in no uncertain terms by the 'bad cop' that "Qantas does not have a hold file." That's not what RH reckons: "...your application has been placed on the hold file and remains under active consideration."

But I digress. Back to the music.

Cool

"Help!" Robyn, I don't like being "Locked Out".

"All I want is you", cause "Baby, I love your way".

Ms Hind, "Please Please (pick) me", and you will receive "All my lovin".

I want to fly a "Jumbo" around the "World" and, "I only have eyes for you".

It would be a "Tragedy" if I wasn't picked on the "First of May".

I would "Embrace" QF; Just to be the "One". This is "My Life" and "You're my home".

"You may be right" that I have to wait "Two Thousand Years", but, surely, that's not "The longest time"?.

Please Ms Hind, "Don't forget to remember me". I don't have a "Secret Love" for VB; "Honestly".

It's a "Matter of Trust" Robyn. I'm sick of "Deja Vu"; All these "Lonely Days".

So Robyn, "From me to you",
"I want to hold your hand"!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Bealtles: Help; Please Please Me; All my lovin; From me to you; I want to hold your hand
Crowded House: Locked Out
U2: All I want is you
Big Mountain: Baby, I love your way
BeeGees: Jumbo; World; Tragedy; First of May; Embrace; One; Don't forget to remember me; Secret Love; Deja Vu; Lonely Days
Billy Joel: My Life; You're my home; You may be right; Two Thousand Years; The longest time; Honestly; A Matter of Trust
