Vale Scott Robinson...

Sad news for all who knew Scotty - he died in a bike crash in Melbourne on the afternoon of the 28th April. Don't know too many other details.

Lovely bloke, great operator, worked at Channel 9, the Territory, with Impulse from Tamworth for a number of years and had recently upgraded to the left seat of the 717. Was married with a 3 year old daughter.

The phrase rhymes with 'clucking bell'...

Why don't w@nkers go in this way?!!

I was shocked when I opened my email today. Not Scotty...it couldn't have been....but it was.

To Scotty. You were a top bloke and mate, this place won't be the same without you.
My thoughts go out to his family.

Life is too short.

Scotty was one of the most decent people I have met in my entire life. I have yet to meet a single person who has had a bad word to say about him.

The world is a lesser place with him gone.

Personally, I will miss him terribly!

Our thoughts, and love go to his wife Christine, and daughter Laura.

At this stage, the funeral is to be on Monday, or Tuesday at Burwood in Melbourne.

Patrick Feeney.

Just a quick note to advise details of Scott's funeral.

It will be held on Tuesday the 7th of May, commencing 1pm
at Drayton & Garson Chapel
339 Warrigal Road
Burwood (Melbourne)
P.S. there is a large amount of parking (for Approx 100 cars),at the Venue Plus side streets (We did ask but unfortunately they can't park a 717. Wouldn't that have been a great tribute)

Also many thanks for everyones condolences and messages, I am sorry that I didn't get to call some of you and tell you first hand, but the job just became to difficult and emotionally draining.

Laura has been pretty good, though it is hard to guage how much she understands. She said yesterday that Daddy is in the Airplane up in heaven. And we decided that he must be giving the angels joy flights in the 717. (And I am sure that once he gets in the cruise he is going down the back handing out the catering packs - Impulse 1900 guys will understand that one.)

Again many thanks for all calls, messages, cards, flowers and offers of help.

Chris Ryan

Chris and Laura

All of Scots and your friends are deeply saddend by this
weeks news.
I have spoken to many friends around the world based in HK Uk and Australia.
As you know time and distance works aginst us, and it seems that many who would have liked to be there on Tuesday won,t be able to attend.
You and Luara are in our thoughts and Scotts memory will allways live in our hearts.

From Mr & Mrs Big dog and the 2 pups.

I had the pleasure of meeting Scotty when he first embarked on his dream of becoming a pilot and was still working the OB van for Channel 9..... and it was only recently that I heard he was going so well at it too!

I'm so very sorry mate.

I remember Scotty from his Impulse days in Tamworth. Always warm, smiling, and welcoming. Can't make the funeral. My condolances to his wife and family.

For those of you overseas etc who'd like to do something for Scotty's family, a trust account has been established to help with future expenses (like Laura's education). Donations can be made in either Laura's or Christine's name to -

LAURA ROBINSON TRUST FUND
ANZ BANK
BSB - 013 333
ACCOUNT NO. - 5630 74994

Flowers are very nice, but hopefully this will have more meaning to Laura as she gets older...

PS G'day to Digger & Glen, sorry to have to bring you this sort of news.
