The question is are there any around???

That was meant to read pilot (CPL) & LAME/AME

Yeah there are some LAMES around but with the current state of Oz aviation there is more job security and better pay overseas.

yep there are some LAME's around but their scarce in OZ at the moment. But i've heard there are plenty of Drivers or should we say Jockeys around!!!!

After Ansett, I would have thought that you'd have plenty of anybody you need to fix them or fly them. Yes / no ?

Methinks what HA means is a LAME with a CPL or vice versa. There's a few LAMEs I know HA who obtained there CPL and went bush for work, in places like Longreach, Alice, etc. or even work on the big cattle stations as general hands.

Few around, but most end up doing the LAME thing because the PILOT thing is so overly competitive...or go overseas.
