Do you think what warning star said on the other thread that they are to be leased makes a difference?
Maybe being the bigger person and not saying anything would be more mature.

No it doesnt make a difference, but what does make a difference is what the QF CEO said at a meeting yesterday.
The fact is , 6 more jets are on the way, and its time for the Impulse Bashers to renig thier claims of "dreaming". I also resent the fact that people on this forum dont find it degrading that the Impulse guys are called "worms". Thats all Im trying to say.
Refresh your memories by reading the 717 threads.
Vince Brown, good on you for sticking to your guns, you showed them!

For all the Impulse bashers ……….here’s 20 cents call your mum have a cry
My Work Is Done……….Trust in me and you shall receive the Right answers my good brothers.........
Just to rub salt into the wounds of the VQ Pulse bashers – another 10 are optioned to bring the total fleet to an optimal operational level of “24” B717’s in total.
Forecast to be in service by this time next year……bout the same time when the rest of the BAE146 contracts run out
As Fabio said before and say’s again : I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S NOT BUTTER
Vincent Has Left The Building………..

Lan Kwai Thongie,
I hate to dissapoint you and ruin your attempt at an intelligent post (by the way, an intelligent post requires intelligent grammar, and/or english) but I dont fly the 1900, I dont fly the 717, and I dont work for the Pulse! I do however have respect for the guys at the Pulse for putting up with the ********* that is aimed at them.
Do everyone a favour, and don't bother going through the sign up process just so you can have a lousy attempt at abusing someone. Congratulations on your first post, unfortunately you got it wrong!!
Oh, and get off the VQ bashing bandwagon, this is not your place!

This news appears to answer the original questions.
Now one might ask whether the Impulse system will be able to continue pushing crews through the conversion process quickly enough to avoid recruitment ?

What do these new services mean to Sunstate and the existing Q'link services from Brisbane to these Queensland regional centres?
My opinion is that they must suffer a reduction in pax ( long term, when the market balances out again with new players). Some of their pax must be on-carriage from the south.

Keg,
The B717s were offered with humility as standard, but QF fleet acquisition decided that they could save money by removing it pre-delivery.
In light of this, you'll forgive me for offering my dear friend Proplever a piping-hot serving of the humble-pie he so valiantly offered to devour if his well-informed and open-minded projections about Impulse's future in Australian aviation were proven to be unfounded.
Would you like sauce with that, Prop, ol' buddy?
