Pay rise for RAAF Pilots?

I realise this topic has been in and around now since Adam was a boy however............

Anyone care to start a rumour as to what is going to happen with RAAF pilots pay. A little bird said we'll find something out in the next couple of months, (I've only heard that about 48 times.) Anyone shed some light?

Yeah, I heard since the new Ansett contract and current Virgin contract are up and running, that the RAAF pilots flying pay is going down.

I believe a pay rise is many, many moons away... However, have heard increasing rumblings of FINALLY incorporating flying pay into base wage for superannuation calculations. Perhaps occuring before the end of 2002 - anyone else confirm or deny this? This will make a huge difference to "final average salary" calculations and maybe even allow us to avoid eating dog food in our retirement.

CB Towers and a few others had some good discussion on this about 4 months ago, should be archived I guess.

Fat lot of good it will do me - I got out in January! . .I'm by no means whingeing though, hope it comes through for others though; flying pay into salary would make a pretty big difference to superannuation.
