Karratha Based Charter Operation Requires Office Person
A Charter company based in Karratha W.A requires an office person.
Computer skills required, with experience using the MYOB program essential.
Some Instructing work is also available for this person, if they hold an instructor rating no higher than Grade 3.

Don't know anything about the company Ali_G, but I've been to Karratha a number of times.
It's not the end of the world, but if you stood on ther terminal roof, you can just see the end of the world.
My only observation is that if you lived in Karratha and owned a gun, you'd shoot yourself.

Typical f...n losers.
If you've ever been to Karratha you couldn't have missed the awesome fleet that is Karratha Flying Services (KFS). I don't even work for them but do admire their fleet. Approx - 2 Barons, 4-5 Navajos/Chieftain, and a King Air. Their aircraft are the spickest and cleanest aircraft in the north of WA, something I'd be proud of.
As for Karratha town, there's a whole heap worse places to live in Australia, just ask the boys from the Darwin area.
You fellas have to wake up and pull your heads in.

grounded bloke.
I was there when it was just a construction camp, never got tired of the absolutely stunning countryside and on a clear moonless night away from the lights the stars are just breathtaking.
I've left more braincells there than I care to count.
Get your fat lazy backsides up there it's an experience you will be the better and wiser for.

After a short, impoverished burst in G.A,I'm now one of those "bit thick mine boys" resident in kta, and I know what I'm talking about.
Stand on the KTA terminal roof, and all you'll see, if you know what you're looking at, is prosperity. You will see the facilities of a world class iron ore exporting business and the operations of a company exporting gas around the world. Like wise commercial salt. And, about 50k up the coast, another world class iron ore exporter, These immensely successful businesses prop up the economy of this whole wide brown land.And, in the process, are big, reliable users of G.A. and R.P.T. products. And, I'm very happy to be one of the "bit thick mine boys" who live and work here, and who make it all happen.I now sit in the back with my finger on the hostie call button, and let you dudes do all the work, for a fraction of the money I make now.
Look around the carpark at the terminal while youre up there. It'll be full of hire cars and company Landcruisers, another indicator of the prosperity of the region. Look at the standard of the houses, and the pools, and the boats, and R.V.s. Us "bit thick mine boys" do better than ok, and we know it. I suspect you don't.
The way I look at things, prosperity = security. You've got a better chance here than anywhere else, as I see things.
There is a downside, rents are outrageous, mainly because of the demand for housing from all the activity here. If you score a job, negotiate accommodation into your package.

Well said Snapper_head KFS is a great company with high mins and to get in there as a grade 3 instructor is a good move for anyone who wants to go somewhere.

cracka and schlonger, you poor brainless idiots, I had the best three years of my life Karratha, good climate, great fishing, very good people. My advice to anyone is get out of the city and away from plastic losers like cracka and schlonger.Have a look around, especially Karratha as the company concerned is one of the best run aviation companies in Australia, you will never regret it.
I would employ anyone who has been bush before the city bound types. If your are young it will install some CDF into you and you will meet friends that you will keep for life.
If only I could be in the Karratha Tavern or Geckos now with a beer!

Please explain your last sentence. None of us here at Cat Tower can understand what your talking about. I'd be interested to know your life history. Please post back and explain what you've had to do with Karratha. Our sense of humour is huge, but we just don't like people we don't know dishing Karratha. It's not our loss off sense of humour yet your bad taste of humour.
