Cool

[quote]You'll have to enlighten me - spinal fortitude is a term I'm not familiar with. Intestinal fortitude (guts) is one I know of, and I have sufficient, but spinal fortitude sounds rather silly to me.

Jellyfish would meet the same criteria too, X. And as for the fantasy stories of pilots applying pre-March '90, and being rejected, that is ALL it is. However, I guess it makes YOU (and the other 22% who had no spine} feel better, to continue spinning your untruths.

Keep gloating - we're ALL enjoying you publically admit to being the @ssholes that previously only your former peers had the displeasure to have been associated with. . .It may well be that the Ansett F/O's who have NOT been re-employed are in fact better off, being as FAR removed from you and your ilk, as the rest of have.

And WE didn't have to eat sh!t!!

I think there is more truth to this that the real fantasy that some people have. That is the Pilot's that were re-employed by Australian and Ansett after the dispute had their applications in before March 31st 1990. That is even more insulting to the "cannon fodder" who stayed to fight the war!

60+ year old ex-747 & 737 AN captains doing A320 ratings in order to continue flying with AN when young and current AN A320 pilots available? Why are we not surprised? Bet the creditors are not aware of paying for the training of these greedy geriatrics!

C'mon Casper, AN will probably get a good 12-18 months out of these @rses...errr, aces...before they have to spend another couple of hundred thousand $$$'s training their replacements!!

And of course these 60+ - dare I use the "SCABS" word - are ONLY doing it to "SAVE the airline", absolutely NOTHING at all to do with the money!!

Selfish, egotistical pr!cks!! . .AGAIN!

We expect no better from KM, knackered, TTT, etc.

I just love the way they get worked up over this non-issue almost 13 years down the track, and that's just what it is, a non-issue.

Eat your hearts out fellas!! We lived in Oz, worked in Oz, and made buckets to do it while you went off overseas chasing some idealogical (or is that idiotlogical) dream, and it was only ever a dream.

As for none of the red raggers applying, try the first female in AN, and the wine merchant. That's only two, but there were many more.

I think you guys should take on the handles Barramundi 1, Barra 2, etc. You really go for the bait.

Heads down, and waiting for the firing to start.

Well, there were quite a few who made "back door" overtures to personal contacts in the AN flight Dept.

One particular captain who sought well before March '90 and was offered a position considered that it was not good enough as he aimed to advance his status. Hubris drove him to reject the position because his arrogance was such that he thought a better offer would be forthcoming. It wasn't! Said chap later worked for Compass 1 and was most vocal in denunciation of others. Another was assigned a position that was accepted and then after induction tried to jump into another. He was given an offer he couldn't refuse. He left. These chaps would not like to be exposed especially in the light of their subsequent activities.

Your gloating has uncovered Flat Side Up's numerous, long posts - denying that you scabs went back for NO SALARY INCREASE - for what they were.....LIES.

Say "thank you" to Kaptin_X, FSU!!

And there you have it, ex-AN F/O's. Read Kaptin_X's posts carefully and realise that he typifies the type that helped destroy the old Ansett, and have AGAIN ridden roughshod over the top of you gentlemen to secure ONLY their positions with the new AN, to sate their GREED.

They present in many various forms - eg. FSU, who pleads that he returned because he "knew the battle was lost when the resignations went in"; the others, whose favourite is "I did it for my family"; - but they are ALL filled with the same GREED as Kaptin_X freely confesses to!

Do you (the ex-AN F/O's) still wonder why the 78% of us who didn't return STILL hold those people - the SCABS - in contempt?

Kap M. .There you go again twisting the facts. I gave you the actual salary and hours worked for it before and you still deny the truth.. .And,speaking of lies, please explain how do you justify the lies told by the AFAP. Not once has any of you responded to the lie told by the AFAP about the influx of contract pilots when they knew it was actually happening and in large numbers.

Wink

The foreigners, FSU, were dribbling in, and in the time frame envisaged by Abeles, they were never going to be able to get the operation back to what it was predispute.. .The only truth is, that you and KX, et al, were the pitiful people who scabbed back, and gave Abeles the hope he needed. Of course, the golden scabs, who imagined that Australian airline ops revolved around them, were the ultimate in scabbiness, training these foreign blow-ins.. .It is, as I have said before, as simple as that.. .As for former post ,90 AN F/O's are now concerned, they are faced with the same level of scab mentality for the reason KX mentioned. The double scabs want to stay at home, and the next-to unemployable F/O's can buzz off overseas.. .You have to admit FSU and KX, you both exhibit the selfishness required of scabs.. .Oh, and KX, there were many back door attempts by a lot of people for a lot of reasons (in their minds). The bottom line is, if they signed a contract, they were scabs, if not, they weren't.

It must be like hitting your head against a brick wall and waking up every morning with a headache.. .Some contibuters to PPrune still obviously think the whole world revolves around them and their mistakes from 12 or 13 years ago.

In case some of you havn't caught up with the latest in Auz Aviation, at Ansett we have some massive problems and that is all we care about at the moment!!.

Like most of us at Ansett,I have problems sleeping at night, but all I need to do is crank up Prune and read some.....zzz.....of the posts like the....zzz....ones' above and I'm off with.....zzzz.....the fairies.....zzz zzzz zzzZZ....zzzzZZZZZ.......zzZZZZZZ....ZZZZZZZZZ.

woke momentarily to correct sum speling

Kaptin X your gloating is just disgusting!. .You're a sad, bitter and quite horrible person.

Life is about living honourably and treating people well.

Life is about Karma - what goes around comes around.

Stop and think about it. That is why you are in this current situation - to take a good look at yourself and try to learn a valuable lesson. (I am certainly not saying that all - even most - AN staff have been put in this tough predicament to learn a difficult lesson, but there most certainly are a few that are.) When I read comments like your recent post, ultimately all I can feel is concern. Life will keep on dishing out on you until you take the responsibility to learn. It is you who needs to move on.

TTT, KapM, f/fox,

You guys are as dumb as dog $hit. I told you a couple of posts back that you were being baited and still you come in like barra after a lure.

Let's try it again - it's too easy. I have no regrets, and if I've ridden roughshod over you, then who cares.

Thumbs Up and FSU, you're on the ball.

Down in the trench again and waiting for the fire to start.

Wrong again Dude, or is that Dud?

I've searched the forums and there is no capt schlonger evident - certainly not in recent times.

I have no idea of whom you speak.

Keep this up knackered and you'll be in the same category as TTT, KM, f/fox etc - dumb as dog $hit.

How many times do I have to say it?

I'm off on an eight day trip, so I can't say it again till at least the 3rd March.

Strange thing 'X', did a search on schlonger and came up with 10 posts. He has the exact writing style as yours, same short fuse, known to wield nav bags with abandon.

If you like I can give you some help on how to do a search. It's fairly simple. Won't take long to explain.

KAPT X,

Glad SQ is looking after you,but please have some consideration for the F/O`s you flew with at AN.

Being tarnished with your brush in attitude and boisterousness could stymie the efforts of the above in obtaining the limited opportunities elsewhere.

In reference to the big money made post 89,don`t make me laugh as hard as ATO investigators or real estate agents dealing in white elephants. Many blew it.

Jamie32o

Get off your proverbial and rally some support. The f/os are onside but only self interest will get the capts onside too.

So try the following.Remind current Capts that senior Capts that come over the top of them in the future will do the same in an A330 scenario.Would be better for current Capts to have F/Os promoted!

Honestly, take the angle of joint expedience, works in business and sure it would work in a splintered pilot group.
