It is just meant to be a bit of fun after the last few days, however that is probably a very good idea?
Australian Airlines for domestic.
Qantas for international.
Or maybe if Qantas were feeling generous, how about
Ansett Australian Airlines for domestic.

QF have already named their new budget international airline "AUSTRALIAN" there fore it would make sense to call their budget domestic airline "AUSTRALIAN" then you have QANTAS international and domestic full service and AUSTRALIAN international and domestic budget.

That would not be a first for Ansett (and it is NOT a criticism), they had a b727 painted up with a different colour scheme on each side, it parked either left side or right side to the terminal depending where it landed......

The way An staff have been treated by ANZ & SQ recently, I think the majority would welcome QF. I know that I would now & I'll admit, I was one that thought SQ's dollars would be of benefit to AN. Now, they can stick it up the Merlions AR$E as far as I'm concerned

Lame, I prefer "CHANTUS" - let's chansett with qantas.
They could use the good old slogans of:-
"You should see us now"
and
"You can't have the best airline without the BEST people"
to be topped with
"ABSOLUTELY!!"
PS You should hear the Japanese pronounciation of "Qantas" on a code share flight - "Cu#####" beautiful!!

Thank you for all the ideas, yes I think they overdid the absolutely a little.
THIS IS NOT A CRITICISM OR ANTI ANSETT......
Just an observation, my Wife went down to Melbourne and back with Ansett this last week, in business/first, when she got home we both had a good laugh at the priority baggage tags they used, it says, yes.....
