Post Stokes to buy SKYWEST. Jets PH-BRM-BALI ?

The story keeps going around.

Kerry Stokes wishes to buy Skywest and start Jet services to Bali. I gather Skywest has already started Broome overnighters. Anyone with some better information?

Icarus,

Skywest did do some 'trial' flights to Broome for a short period, but the trial is completed now.

I have not heard any more as to whether Broome is/will be added to their network.

Sorry I dont have anymore, thats all I know!!

NJS tried this route with RJ's but failed. Good luck to Skywest.

Icarus. It may pay to check out the topic " Skywest Sold " Posted on the 13th December. Seems to be at odds with your topic.

Ansett operated BRM-DPS with the 146 a little while ago.

Didn't work - don't know why they started it anyway. Was/is there much demand for such a route - it already costs a bomb to travel to Broome!

Cheers,

Justin
