No, you worked for you. There's really no need to give that opportunistic bunch of parasites any free advertising. I'm sure you could have gotten the job the old fashioned way too.
Congratulations on the new job, enjoy!!

Actually Lackov, LeRat would not have been able to get the job the old-fashioned way. Like it or not, unless you apply to the 3 QF regionals via that means, you won't be considered for employment.
Sadly, that's the way it is.
Trust me....

Jarse, what I meant was that Monsieur Rat should give him/herself the credit rather than StaffCV, and that had the old system still been in place, they would still have gotten the job if they proved to be a worthy player. StaffCV didn't get them the job per se.
I know that it's the way of the future, and that like it or not it's here to stay...yadda, yadda, but I can't help thinking that the pilot population has just been fed another pineapple. The "because they can" school of ethical behaviour has once again dictated that the guys/gals at the bottom of the food chain bear the cost of what is normally an employer-associated cost in most other industries.
Do the math, they don't really save you any money, and only serve to de-personalise your application via an unnecessary middle-man.
And lets face it, their track record of keeping tabs on your personal information has been pretty average. Again, in a lot of other industries a little more than just a paltry "oops, we stuffed up, sorry" email may have been demanded.
