I'm sort of with Kaptin M on this one. It just to me looks like Combet et al are trying to cover their own backsides by taking legal action in this instance. Thats if you believe the stories that PWC had a buyer within a week who would take 10,000 of the 16,000 staff although on contract. Hence the ACTU pushing the removal of PWC which effectively sacrificed 10,000 jobs and subsequently 3,000 jobs...

Pleeeeezzzeee could someone tell me who was the mystery buyer who the Administrators kept ignoring. Was it the same person who stood up at the Creditors Meeting and asked why their bid wasn't looked at? What was the problem with them?? Maybe they could have financed the staff bid?

1. The ACTU stood to lose lotsa bikkies in the. . power struggle with all jobs going on. . contract AND MADE ITS OPINION VERY CLEAR.. .2. The mystery buyer had a good look at the. . politics of the situation and potential. . future areas of industrial conflict. .3. The mystery buyer said "We're outa here!". .4. The AN workers lost, compliments of the ACTU.
