CX Pilot's to fly QF A330??

Anybody heard any truth to this rumour-:
CX A330/A340 drivers asked to apply for 5 year contract to fly QF A330.

What A scale A330 CX crew...(and the Captains are all still A scale) is going to take a pay cut of monumental proportions to fly A330's for QF?

Or if you believe they would, what cost conscious Australian company is going to pay them twice what it it would pay it's own crews if it doesn't have to.
