Crystal Ball into the future!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Sir Richard has a thought that in many years to come it may be the Number 2 airline in australia, at the rate its going and his vested interest in his international organisation here and overseas. He might as well pay Ansett and ANZ the quarter of a billion dollars to get ANZAA out of the brink and then change the face of aviation forever in Oz. Imagine all those new domestic and international flights with the A380 coming here, taking on his arch rival BA, the way he always wanted to do and dominate the world scene. You never never know, only a Crystal Ball will see into the future. As Richard said " Its not the Money's the issue " who knows, lets see how it pans out in the months and years to come. This is as real as it gets. "Absolutely!"

For Richard to take over AN before liquidation he would have to honour the current employment contracts etc.
However, should AN be allowed allowed to be closed down, Richard is in the box seat to acquire the useful assets, and offer new employment contracts to probably grateful, recently retrenched persons.
Now AN supporters, please don't read into this an impression that I want to see any of you go through the stress that such a scenario will no doubt cause. My view above is just how I suspect, based on a feeling in my water, things will pan out.

Irrespective of who ends up owning Ansett it will require something drastic to turn the operation around. There has been a loss of public confidence, a reletively large loss of market share and they ain't got no money. Personally I doubt RB would buy the company myself. Just a gut feeling.

How hot has the fire going to get this time, what a way to shoot fireworks into the starie sky, one week is a long time for politics but in flying, this is going to set the Oz scene alight. But as what happens by monday night the board will know the outcome of the whole issue and it could lose its altitude, Richard plays his cards close to his chest and holds all the trump cards. Its kind of like being caught between a rock and a hard place. But sleep tight all those people concern, no point losing sleep over something you can not control. Besides the damage was done a lone time ago, there just finding out know. If you hold trump cards i know richard will be laughing all the way. That crystal ball is showing a clear picture as the next week or two unfolds.

Hi all,
its kind of getting real close for the real answers of whats going on in the inside of anzaa, what a week it will be, and besides the fat lady will sing a song when the flags falls, which ever way the wind blows.
