I know nothing about this one except it was in the Cairns Post Saturday 5/1/02.

Put money on it that this thread gets locked. Any takers. I'll open at $10. Raise me if you dare. Admittadlly (spelling) it's a RUMOUR network but lately it's been hard to get a word in edgewise.

The original post sounded perfectly reasonable; just reporting a job ad.

The only reason the thread would be locked would be because of bitchy/smartass/off-topic follow-up posts. You guys haven't got the message yet, have you?

I don't think that number is a Cairns number. More likely the Cape or Tablelands?

You've got me, Engine Out, Cairns hot and sultry as usual. Bike taking a thrashing, as usual.

Sorry, Thefarcawe, I can't lay claim to being The Mun@#er. Sounds like one the Angels to me. And I totally agree, God bless old Singo.

hellfish... I know nothing about the company but have reason to believe the job will not give you a lot of hours. But, even if that is true, a job is a job is a job. As a first job in GA, I think it could be a good start so, if I was in your situation, I'd give it a try. It's also a bit of a foot in the door at Cairns, I would think.
