Eastland/Moore's Status???
Following the Ansett fiasco, and with the surviving subsiduaries standing back on the soapbox again, dusting themselves off....
What has become of Eastland Air out of YTWB, with the C90's and the non GPWS'd Hogs!!
Keen to know...kind of close to home!
Cheers -27

Here's to hoping to that this is just another small pothole in the road for the Moore Family.
Over the years they have overcome much worse to be respected as one of the few remaining family aviation businesses.
Wonderful people in a wonderful place who have given many of us the advice, support and experience to move further into our chosen industry.
Hope it all goes well. Im sure QF would welcome you again with open arms.

Nasa:-
Eastland Air - Wimray - Air Ngukurr :-
you figure it out. The Twotter is doing VFR RPT DN-BTI-DN 3 times a day.
The C90 is doing charter and lots of it (NOT).
Filling a big hole in RPT since Airnorth pulled out of the Islands. Funny though VFR RPT more than 9 pax no GPWS, will this still be done VFR in the WET Territory style or will something actually be done?
Cheers.....................

Oh HA you poor jelous fella,
Let me think, it's been to Tanami, Truscott, Broome and Groote, all except the latter have been in the last week!!
If THATS not doing any work, what do you call what you do to your twins????
And you can't count ferry flight for aircraft you've sold, or that other companies are flying aircraft under your ownership.
Well at least you make it up in your singles, and because of it, the aformantioned Twotter went to go pick up the mangled prob from one of you 210's that joined the ranks of NAC crashed aircraft
And just to let everyone else know, I think HA is a jelous boy, considering the C90 just mentioned, was given to WIMRAY and not himself, even with the continued badgering to Mr Moore, he was still refused. (I wonder why???)
Your reputation is going further than just the NT.
But just how much work would you have had for it anyway??
And as for the Twotter, it IS doing more than 3 BTI's per day. E.G. Maningrida, Tanami, Groote, Gove.
Have a good one!!

Mr Bionic.
Spot on dude and whats wrong with jealousy!!! Of course I would love to be cruisen around in a C90. Glad to see your concern however...............
As for Tanami the twotter that used to live here did the odd one just a bit limited in what it could carry over that distance.
Its good to see aviation in Darwin remains with its opininated folk, but then again I suppose its my own fault for posting on here.

Jeez HA how do these posts keep coming back to you but I suppose any publicity is good publicity (not)!
I heard the twotter did go to Tanami. A bit of an epic journey though.
It also went to take the LAME's out to fix the 210 which got a bit wet so I believe.Big tides are a ******.
Oh and back to the original topic good luck to the Moore Family.

Ahh Wylfli,
What fond memories I have of strolling up and down the East coast of Australia together. Fresh sandwiches (Even the toadfish ones) and leisurly coffee breaks at Port.
For it to be that simple again!
Lessons and experiences taught by you in your wonderfully humble way that will stay with me forever.
Good luck to all the happy people!

G.A.Boy Try Vila to Nadi 650nm and no fuel stops except in the water. This was a real epic one in a twin otter on a Sunday afternoon and then we had to go back, with a 30min break.
