Hazelton to continue flights to New England
It has now been confirmed Hazelton Airlines will continue to fly to Tamworth and Armidale until at least January 6 next year.
It was announced last week the flights would continue, but no date was given.
Federal Minister for Transport John Anderson has now announced the Federal Government will underwrite the services until early January.
As part of the deal, Hazelton will have to reschedule its flights so it is possible to fly to Sydney, spend a day in town, and fly back the same day.
