Post The season formerly known as "SUMMER"?!?!?!?!

Where the heck is it, and when the heck will it get here??? This crappy weather is costing me money!!!!!!! There's no point having a MECIR when you're just trying to teach 'medium, level turns' in a C-150!!!!

P.S. (States with reasonable weather please ignore...and enjoy it.)............H.

Yes, we're all wondering what has happened to it down this way. SA recorded it's 3rd wettest spring on record this year.

They say that the chances are that it will be a hot summer when it arrives.

Two whole weeks of high humidity, rain and now wind as well for good measure. Summer better get better soon or I'll ban it.

Get this. I'm flying back from a fly away with three students in a 182RG about three weeks ago. My third student, (who isn't short of a quid) decides that he'd like me to lodge an IFR plan so he can see what it's like to fly through cloud. I put in the plan and ring base to tell them what time we'll be back. As an incidental, the person I was talking to tells me the freezing level was forcast for 3000'. We got airborne. I was hoping that there wouldn't be too much visible moisture. We encountered nothing but CU and SC from 2800' to about 8000'!!! After dodgeing the stuff untill we got to 8000', I decided to canx IFR and procede VFR and we scud ran in all the way back to EN. Didn't pass through a single puff!!! Yep. Thanks for the early Christmas presant touch&go. Quite possibly a white Christmas in OZ!!!.............H.
