Question So who's gearing up?

With the demise of AN and all their associated regionals a lot of centres aren't getting serviced any more. Are any companies around OZ that weren't linked to AN going to have a crack at the potential of new markets and pax?

It takes time to orgnaise the logistics of things. If a airline was operating efficiently before the demise of ansett, they shouldn't really have to many spare aircraft or aircrew hours left to play with, which means the hiring of new staff, and sourcing some more aircraft. I know O'Connor in SA has taken over a lot of the regional routes Kendell did, ie Coober Pedy, Ceduna etc.
