Were I even the slightest bit interested in doing so you are correct.
The only reason IP's are logged is for our protection in the event of legal action as a result of a post. Danny has explained ad nauseum, that in this event the details will be turned over to enable the plaintiff to attempt to identify the culprit, as even he doesn't know who they are. This BB is for the (anonymously if you so choose) exchange of Rumour and News and matters aviation not a platform for "getting even". . .The reason the "IP Logged" icon appears is to remind anybody tempted to trangress the bounds of legal, decent and civil behaviour can and will be identified if necessary, that's all.
So unless this becomes an issue IPs and wherever they may or may not lead by proxy are to all intents and purposes a non event.
Thank you for the opportunity to reinforce that principle.
We do seem however to have a significantly higher population of D & G members with Multiple Personality Disorder here than occurs in the overall population out there. . .It's not surprising given that it is aviation oriented but it would provide PhD research material for at least a dozen students.

Er chaps. .Anyone seen where the CDI went? It's disappeared off my screen, I've got a flag as well and the PRS has been in DR mode for a bit? <img src="eek.gif" border="0"> . .I do hope someone has been keeping a manual plot so we can find our way back.
