Post FWA Jetstreams

Can anyone tell me what FWA have done with the Jetstreams?
Are they back in the air?

Jetsteams are still for sale, will never fly for FWA again. Probably only good for regional operations in Afghanistan.

Question

While we're on the now defunct FWA, it was anounced last week that they'd be resuming services to Gladstone in the Brasilia. Is that going to happen? Also, how much longer will the QLD Govt. be proping up there AOC. Must be costing the taxpayer a fortune.

Either way it doesn't affect me just wondering if they are in fact 'dead' and merely waiting for a date to be set for the funeral.

Onya.

FWA are using E-120, VH-TLZ twice daily BNE -GLT return. Apparently $99 one way.
Have heard a couple of flts have had up to 18 pax. Good on them I say.

18 X $99 =$1782. That is not good. The current operating cost per hour for the EMB120 is close to $2500 AUD per hour. BNE-GLD is 1 hour so FWA need 25 pax (83% load factor)per flight just to break even.
