Gday everyone
Im off to Cairns next monday.
Need any info on anything to do with the place, especially accom. and which but to go to!
Cant wait to get out of sydney, Im driving up so it will take a bit.

There are Backpackers eveywhere in Cairns. I have never stayed in one but I can't see why there would be much difference.
Also it seems like there is plenty of share accomodation advertised in the Paper, if you are staying for a bit. Look in the Cairns Post, Wednesday and Saturdays editions are the best for that type of stuff.
As for flying work?????????????????

Backpacker hostels and then get your own unit or share. I was paying $150 furnished
in Yorkeys Knob in 98. This time of year rent and availability is becoming cheaper and easier. Good Luck!

Finding a room is not a problem.
Last time I moved house, I looked at 3 houses and they all said when I wanted to move in.
Moved house again last week [the 10th in 28 months oh the life of a GA pilot
] got the first place I looked at. $60 a week for a big room in a nice clean 3 bedroom Queenslander with 2 others.

Have the flat mates realised what they have done letting you move in YET CS????? or hang on thats right you would be doing all their ironing now wouldn't you.......

On a more pissed off note had a red serviette in my white shorts pocket and now 4 flying shirts are a very slight pink color under certain light condition - even after a night in Napisan

It was plainly obvious that she had a cheese and salad sandwhich for lunch.
What is it with you pommy chicks..as soon as youleave your fair shores, your skirts get shorter, your g-strings smaller and tighter, and your bikinis smaller.
Don't get me wrong though we aren't complaining out here in backpacker central.
