Thumbs down Shopping in Osaka (Part Deux)

Have just heard that our Hero from Osaka was charged last year with trying to rundown a neighbour (in Brisbane) who was building a house that he didn't like. Got off with dangerous driving and a $400 fine.

If everything that this guy has done wrong in the last 25 years was collated, it would make a very thick novel (might be interesting reading).

But it wouldn't be a novel, would it? The stories of this person's troubled past all seems to be factual.

Wonder how many more skeletons AN have in their closet from their 'big recruiting drive' of twelve years ago?

Just as a matter of record, the gentleman in question was not part of the "recruitement drive" but was pre-'89 Ansett and never resigned.

Minor correction Wizofoz, he DID resign, but was back within 48 hours!

Anyway, I think the subject is now history as far as an aviation career with any respectable airline is concerned - just amazing that it took so long to happen, in spite of repeated incursions. Almost as if he WANTED to get caught.

Another aspect worth raising - how did he manage to continually renew his crew id when there were obvious recorded convictions? It sure doesn't say much for the Security organisations employed by the Federal Government and Ansett, does it!!

Not that I condone petty pilfering, but I wouldn't have thought it would stop you from getting your ID renewed.

Kaptin M

Since there were only three who came back in the first week, it sure narrows it down.

And how many of those had a father in the industry, especially a father with the reputation this one's had?

Betcha, like the proverbial bad penny, this bloke turns up with twelve months in one of the Asian or ME carriers as an instant captain.

Betcha.

Every dog has his day. I am so happy to hear that this idiot finally got what he has deserved for so long. Like father like son.

OK guys?

Is this individual still working for this company and have his employers actually done anything about it??

He resigned although I suspect he had an option there and it was the preferable option.

Yeah, sources have confirmed that he no longer works for AN, his house is on the market and, being the survivor that he is, he will turn up again elsewhere working for an airline that is too slack to do background checks.

His pilfering ways appear to be a "condition" that he has had for years - the latest incident that I have heard of is that he was caught stealing from a hardware store in a Brisbane suburb. Apparently, police in Bris have a sizable file on him.

Isn't it ironic that the "hero" who is the subject of this thread and has an extensive history of theft gets paid out all his entitlements while loyal and honest staff at Ansett miss out.

AND he’ll probably shoot the line to prospective overseas employers that he lost his job when AN folded.

And probably get away with it.

AND he’ll one of the first in line since he’s been given a head start.

I wonder if he knows the punishment for shoplifting in that part of the world? Hope he doesn't, it'll come as a bit of a 'surprise'!

This is God punishing him for being a SCAB! Lie down with dogs and you end up with fleas!!

I'm just saving one of those misdirected 'ones who stood firm' from putting up this post.

Perhaps they are forgetting that one who stood firm had been done for shoplifting in Perth some years before the dispute and survived because the AFAP defended him. Big guy - Gary ???? I think. Can't imagine what he was going to do with a size 10 bikini when he was about 110 kg. Surely one who stood firm wouldn't be into crossdressing would he?

There's a lot unjust about this particular situation. Yes, this guy got his full entitlements when others will miss out, he got the jump on jobs ahead of the crowd, ad now he'll probably be able to pass it all of as a result of the AN crash.

But life is unfair and unjust just like 89 fellas appeared, and if you don't accept it, it'll kill you.
