Thumbs up 6 CRJ to NZ

Heard a rumour that with the AN VB tie up and the redeployment of their 737 ng's that this will free up 6 Ansett CRJ to come over to NZ for the regional network!

I'm sorry, but even my maths skills can tell the difference between capacity redeployment commonality 737 vs CRJ.

And what on earth makes you think that New Zealand pax will get into a CRJ when they spent 10 years telling the non-competition that a 146 wasn't good enough.

More likely to see Impulse (QF) 717's than CRJ's surely.

What have you guys been on??!

I doubt very much whether the CRJ (definately not the 717) will be seen here.

Rotosua and Queenstown are not suitable for operations and all the other likely destinations are full of 733's.

There is NO reason to bring them in. Watch for more ATR's. Makes more sense.
