Skyhawk,there is a David James flying 146's for Southern (Q-Link) out of Melbourne. His 'vintage' suggests he could be the one you are wondering about, however I do not know the specifics.

Garry Dare went back to full time farming and Peter Lynch was with Silk Air up until 2 years ago. He may have transferred to SQ mainline on the A310 or could be back in Oz working for Virgin.
